So where are all the reporters like who keep bashing the Las Vegas real estate market? They love to talk about the sky is falling but that’s not what the statistics are now showing. Buyers beware…The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the Las Vegas real estate median home price for 2006 rose nearly 15%. I don’t see the sky falling in Las Vegas. In 2006, the median new home price increased 14.8 percent to $327,436 and the existing homes sold median price rose 3.6 percent to $284,980.
In Californina where prices are considerably higher than Las Vegas, a median home price such as those showing in Las Vegas is music to buyer ears. So buyers, why are you waiting to buy a home in Las Vegas?
Before I forget, those same media blasting the sky is falling shouted Las Vegas real estate land prices would fall a huge amount. Want to hear what the truth is? Watch for my next Blog post on that topic.
